Carol’s involvement with The Disability Trust is motivated by her desire to contribute to the delivery of services for people with disability to live the life they choose, as she explains.

“I have always considered myself ‘lucky’. Lucky because as a person with disability, I have access to education, employment, love, home ownership and all the other everyday things people without disability don’t need luck to have. I want to contribute to a world where people with disability don’t need luck to have an education, a job, love and friendship, their own home or whatever it is they want”.

Indigenous Culture mark

The Disability Trust acknowledges the traditional custodians of the Country on which we provide services. We recognise the strength and intergenerational resilience of Elders and honour the culture and knowledge of community leaders past, present and emerging.
