There’s never been a better time to start something new.
We’re proud to announce that embarc – our newly launched disability employment service – has been successful in the Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA) tender. From 1 November, the new IEA program will replace the current Disability Employment Services (DES) program.
We are excited to expand across the following Employment Services Areas:
✔ ACT/Queanbeyan, ACT/NSW
✔ Bayside, VIC
✔ Eurobodalla, NSW
✔ Lower South Coast, NSW
✔ Shoalhaven, NSW
✔ Wollongong, NSW
This outcome means more people with disability will be supported to find meaningful, inclusive work – backed by a team that’s passionate, professional and person-centred.
What does this mean for job seekers and employers?
✔ More local offices opening across NSW, ACT and Victoria
✔ Increased support options for people with disability, injury or health conditions
✔ Expanded partnerships with inclusive employers
✔ Greater reach with the same trusted service quality
Officially launching on 1 August 2025, embarc combines the experience of WorkAbility and Workskills into a unified brand that’s clear, confident, and community-first.
