The Disability Trust's Hunter Gala Dinner.

Inaugural Hunter Gala Dinner a stunning success

More than a hundred people put on their finest threads to make The Disability Trust’s inaugural Hunter Gala Dinner a stunning success.

Club Macquarie in Argenton was the venue for a wonderful night filled with dancing, solo singing performances, cake and crazy photos, old friends meeting old friends and new friends being made.

A total of 117 staff members, participants and families turned out for the event recently and it was great to see a lot of people coming out of their shells, surprising us all with dance moves and loving the camera spotlight.

A picture tells a thousand words so we will let them do most of the talking, however we would like to thank the following people for helping to make this a very special night for us and the people we support.

  • Kathryn Collins for her unwavering commitment to the event
  • Karen Maddison and Raylene Condron for tireless pursuit for donations for our raffle
  • Tess Ryan, Emcee
  • Amani, Photo Booth
  • Keiran Kelly and Tony Ryan, Band
  • Raffle donations from:
    • Julie Wilde Photography
    • Bill Bailey and Newcastle Entertainment Centre
    • Toronto West Tyres
    • Harvey Norman
    • Pharmacy 4 Less, Blacksmiths
    • Hunter Valley Gardens
    • Coles
    • Let’s Face It Skin and Laser Clinic
    • Bunnings, Boolaroo
    • Dullboy
    • Warner’s Bay Kebabs
    • The Witches Charm, Warners Bay
    • Wicks n Bits
    • Rushta Surf, Toronto

And to the people the night was dedicated to – the people we support – thank you for coming!

See you all next year.
