Pathway to success in Hunter for employment services

If you are a job seeker in Newcastle, Lake Macquarie or the Central Coast, The Disability Trust’s employment facilitators are ready to work with you on your pathway to success.

We provide individualised supports to help you reach your goals as part of our specialised, highly individualised pre-employment program where we work with candidates to explore employment opportunities.

This program caters for people aged 14 to 65 with NDIS funding and a goal to enter the workforce.

Our facilitators provide a tailored, one-to-one service to assist job seekers explore their strengths and discover employment opportunities.

 

Disability Employment Services.

Step one is the Discovery phase where we learn about your unique contributions and about different work environments.

We then focus on customised planning – getting you job ready by developing new skills, job and task identification, and work transition opportunities.

Our staff will identify and contact employers in the community to see where there are suitable vacancies.

Next, we look after placement and support to maximise your opportunities for success with the final step in the process our ongoing commitment to ensuring you have everything you need to continue in sustained, meaningful employment.
