Score Teams Unite for a Weekend of Footy, Friendship and Fun

Recently, participants from the Score Dragons, Score Raiders, and Score Sharks came together for an action-packed Score Camp, filled with sport, connection, and plenty of fun.

The weekend kicked off on Saturday with a series of training drills, fitness sessions, boxing, and games. In the evening, the group headed to WIN Stadium to watch the Dragons take on the Panthers before enjoying a big group dinner at Figtree Sports, where there was plenty of laughter and team bonding.

On Sunday, the focus turned to wellbeing, with a visit from Talk 2 Me Bro, a local men’s mental health charity. Their team spoke with participants about the importance of being a good friend and how to take care of ourselves and each other. The day ended on a high note – quite literally – as some of the participants took on the challenge of jumping into the ice baths Talk 2 Me Bro had brought along, sparking plenty of cheers and excitement!

The camp was a fantastic opportunity for participants to build skills on and off the field, strengthen friendships, and create lasting memories. It was a weekend that truly captured the spirit of the Score program: community, wellbeing, and a shared love of footy.
