Score Dragons and Score Raiders teams at the Score Camp

Skills and sportsmanship on display at the Score Camp

Score Dragons and Score Raiders came together recently for a weekend of hard work, skills, and sportsmanship in their annual Score Camp.

Both teams spent Saturday participating in team building and healthy lifestyle games with drills, gym, and fitness sessions facilitated by the Illawarra and Canberra Sport and Recreation teams. This was followed by a trip to the Raiders Centre of Excellence. The Score Dragons and Score Raiders joined the Raiders NRLW girls on the field for their Captains’ Run, which was followed by a facility tour of their centre.

The teams took to the field at GIO Stadium on the Sunday to play against each other. With the crowd roaring behind them, Score Dragons and Score Raiders put the new skills they learnt over the weekend into play. In a fantastic display of teamwork and sportsmanship by both sides, the Score Dragons won, settling the score 24-12.

It was a fun weekend, with many friendships developing on and off the field.
