The Disability Trust’s White Knights soccer squads from the Illawarra and Shoalhaven have been busy putting their skills to good use.
They had the honour of getting to showcase their talent at WIN Stadium in front of the bumper crowd before the Wollongong Wolves’ KidsWish Charity Match against Sydney Olympic recently.
White Knights squad members demonstrated their skills in an on-field display prior to the main game and they also had the honour of walking the players out onto the arena before kick-off.
It was part of a busy weekend for the two teams.
They also played a friendly the day before the National Premier Leagues NSW game.
The players on both sides displayed great skill and sportsmanship with White Knights Illawarra coming out on top 5-2.
Overall it was a really fun weekend for the White Knights with the players getting a chance to bond and socialise with each other outside of their usual weekly program.
