The Next Step Towards Employment

Take the Next Step towards employment with individualised support throughout your journey to obtaining meaningful work and beyond. With the help of SLES funding, you’ll benefit from tailored support in goal planning, skills training, work placement opportunities, and more.

Build confidence and improve communication skills
Get equipped with the tools needed for employment, connect with our network of local employers and make the most of the benefits of ongoing support at every stage of your employment journey.

Individual Support
We offer a fun, engaging and supportive program that’s tailored to your needs. Our experienced staff will take the time to understand and nurture your interests, natural talents and passions. We pride ourselves on our individualised approach as a purpose-driven, values-guided, person-centred, not-for-profit organisation. Your goals become our goals as we assist you by working on your strengths and finding the best opportunities for you to live the life you choose.

Group Learning
Group learning programs allow job seekers to have more opportunity for social and professional interaction, improving communication skills by engaging with peers, employment facilitators and potential employers in a safe, nurturing and familiar setting. Participants gain meaningful skills and experience, with a focus on building confidence and self belief through a collaborative approach to learning in a positive and supportive environment.

Employment Pathways
Our experienced team of employment facilitators is integral to our service, each bringing a variety of specialised skill sets, life experience, and positivity. Their contribution to the skills development process equips individuals with the tools needed to pursue their dreams and achieve successful outcomes in life. Next Step youth employment support provides access to a wealth of knowledge and expertise under the NDIS School Leaver Employment Supports (SLES) funding.
Our individualised job customisation plan allows for greater flexibility and more options enhanced by a variety of supported employment opportunities within our expanding suite of social enterprises and internal career opportunities. We operate a number of services which can provide both long term supported employment but also pave clear pathways to open employment.
Our strong community ties can help connect you with our network of local employers providing access to opportunities for full-time or part-time employment, work placement or work experience.
Having a complete Disability Employment Services (DES) team under the same umbrella in many of the regions we service, allows for a seamless and integrated journey with ongoing support throughout your working life. Post employment support can help you and your employer keep on track and stay well supported.
We also provide microbusiness support for those participants who want to be their own boss or have a passion to create. No matter what your level of competence is or how many goals or ambitions you have we are with you all the way, supporting you for the whole journey and helping you to thrive.
