Situated in Dapto, on the Wodi Wodi land of the Dharawal people. Nanga Mai, meaning ‘Dream’, is a fully equipped and staffed short-stay respite home, which caters specifically for children with disability and their families.

Property Overview
Recently opened, this purpose built respite facility is a much needed short stay accommodation house for the Illawarra community and beyond. Nanga Mai provides a home away from home for children with disability. Giving families and carers time to regenerate with that important down-time, knowing that their loved one is in good company at a place where they feel safe.
This modern and comforting respite home boasts large living areas on the ground level, with lounge room, leather lounge and sofa, bathroom, kitchen, courtyard, with large communal table and dinning room including an eight seater dinning table. The house is also filled with games, books and sensory items for guests to share and enjoy.
Upstairs which also has lift access, there are five individualised bedrooms catering for a range of needs, two additional bathrooms, and a fitted out sensory room with light displays, hammock and many sensory materials, engaging objects and lots of toys to play and learn with.
