Musicality

The Musicality program is designed as a fun, social and interactive music experience that provides an opportunity for participants to make new friends, build self-confidence, express their emotions, and communicate in different ways.

Participants have the opportunity to experience music through singing, movement and dance, experimenting and playing with different instruments, listening to recorded and live music in different genres, participating in music assisted relaxation techniques, as well as creating their own lyrics, dance moves and music.

Experiences Include

  • Physical strength, control and coordination
  • Balance, movement, gross and fine motor skill building
  • Speech and communication skills
  • Social skills and peer interactions
  • Memory, self-awareness and self-regulation
  • Improving overall well-being
