With an office in the bustling centre of the Sutherland Shire at Miranda, located on Dharawal Country, The Disability Trust is hard at work in the south-east of Sydney creating opportunities and providing purposeful support.
We offer a diverse range of services and activities for people with disability within the south-east Sydney area. We endeavour to foster a strong sense of belonging and social engagement, which is vital for the wellbeing of everyone in the community. Among the services available in the Sutherland Shire are Youth Employment Services, Day Options (The Next Step program), Sport and Recreation activities and groups, Community Access, Youth Vacation Care and Supported Independent Living (SIL).

We also offer the School Leaver Employment Supports program, to help people in the final year at school or have you recently left to find meaningful employment. The South East Sydney Theatre Group gives an opportunity for participants to perform on stage while there are also cooking, wellness and fitness, and learner drivers programs available.
Ragers is a community access program that is held on Friday and Saturdays with destinations chosen by the participants that take part. This program aims to allow clients aged 18 or over to increase their social skills, community participation, and development their confidence in a group. The art group in Miranda has a social inclusive environment and has exhibited the groups work at spaces and local galleries such as the Hazelhurst Arts Centre to showcase their work, including a mural to acknowledge First Nations culture and celebrate diversity and inclusion.
