JobAccess is a service that helps people with disability, an injury or health condition to find and keep jobs. It provides information on disability employment, career advice, employment preparation, resume development and training.

JobAccess can also assist with accessing Australian Government funding for eligible people and/or organisations. The Disability Trust can help obtain supports for individuals, businesses and organisations such as sporting clubs, charities and community groups.

JobAccess can support people with disabilities, their families and carers; improve access to education and employment opportunities; make community programs more inclusive and conduct research activities.

Disability access grants are available to make facilities more accessible by improving infrastructure and equipment, whether it is in a workplace or community organisation. The Disability Trust can recommend ways for businesses and community groups to improve their accessibility.

Not all employees with disability require adjustments but if they are necessary, Our staff can help manage the process from before someone is employed with a workplace assessment throughout the process of onboarding and be available throughout the person’s employment tenure with ongoing support – 88% of all people living with disability do not require modifications.

Become more Inclusive

There are many resources available for employers who would like to create meaningful employment options for people with disability and a workplace that is accessible and inclusive for everyone.

We have experienced and skilled staff with extensive knowledge to help employers and community organisations become more inclusive in a variety of areas.

Around 20% of Australians live with disability, which is a large talent pool for inclusive employers who are looking to make their workplace more diverse and not only fill gaps in their staffing but employ dedicated employees seeking meaningful employment who add to the culture of a workplace.
