Score Sharks

Are you a rugby league fan? If so, this is the program for you. We have collaborated with the Cronulla Sharks for a fun NRL program.

The Score Sharks squad trains weekly with the goal of playing a game as a curtain-raiser to an NRL match as the Score Dragons and Score Raiders have done in recent years.

The players are put through their paces at the training sessions by NRL and NRLW players from the Cronulla Sharks at Sutherland Oval as part of program alongside the Score Sharks program facilitator.

The goal of the program is to give the participants plenty of exercise but also teach the skills to play a modified version of rugby league as well as learning the value of teamwork and sportsmanship.

To enrol for the Score Sharks program, participants must be at least 16 years old.

NDIS funding is a requirement to join this program.

Experiences include:

  • Enhance your drills and passing skills
  • Gain an insight on how the Sharks remain strong and tactically savvy
  • Cardiovascular fitness and endurance
  • Strength in upper and lower body
  • Agility
  • Speed
  • Ball-handling and kicking skills
  • Team skills
  • Social interaction
  • Communication skills
  • Gross motor skills
