Self Advocacy Group

A group that is run by people with disability who have united to support each other and to have their voices heard. We introduce guest speakers each month as well as the occasional fun outing that the group decides to do.

(NDIS funding required).

 

Experiences include:

  • Skill development
  • Learning how to ask for help from the right person when you don’t understand something
  • Practice expressing your needs, strengths, challenges and goals
  • Developing social skills
  • Accessing the community
  • Speaking up for your rights
  • Making your own choices
