Carol Berry started her career as a public interest and human rights lawyer, working for the Public Interest Advocacy Centre (PIAC), the peak community legal centre in NSW. After a stint as the CEO of the NSW Council for Intellectual Disability (NSW CID), the peak body for people with intellectual disability and their families in NSW, she was then the CEO of the Illawarra Women’s Health Centre.
Carol subsequently worked for the NSW Ombudsman, where she specialised in the oversight of the disability sector in NSW. Carol went to on to work in provider engagement and market development for the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA), before joining The Disability Trust. Carol is very proud of the work that The Disability Trust does to support people with disability and their families, and our mission to create an inclusive world.
