Success for Workskills and WorkAbility

Following a very competitive grant application process, the Department of Social Services awarded The Disability Trust ongoing contracts to deliver Disability Employment Services (DES) for the next five years.

The Disability Trust provides DES through its two agencies, Workskills and WorkAbility and both have a 26 year history in providing individualised supports to assist people with disability find meaningful employment.

“We currently support 1650 participants. We know that employment is the key to a better life and our team of experienced Employment Consultants know how to support our jobseekers into jobs”, said Diane Dimovski, Senior Manager at The Disability Trust.

In recognition of the quality of services we provide, we were also awarded the opportunity to expand our services. From 1 July 2018, The Disability Trust will provide both Disability Management Services and Employment Support Services in the following regions:

Workskills:

  • Wollongong – Fairy Meadow, Warrawong and Shellharbour 
  • Shoalhaven – Nowra 
  • Southern Ranges – Mittagong and Goulburn 

WorkAbility:

  • Eurobodalla – Batemans Bay, Narooma and Moruya 
  • Lower South coast – Bega, Merimbula, Cooma-Monaro

As a highly successful and experienced DES provider The Disability Trust is very excited to be given this opportunity by the Department of Social Services to support even more job seekers.
