Family Advisory Group Launched

The Disability Trust has recently established an Illawarra based Family Advisory Group.

The function of the group is to ensure that the services delivered by The Disability Trust are fit for purpose and meet the needs and expectations of clients receiving them. Equally important is the Group’s role in providing family members of people who access our services with a voice into service delivery and design of programs and supports.

At regular meetings (chaired by family members), the Group provides The Trust with advice and feedback on strategies, policies and practice to ensure that The Disability Trust is delivering a positive client experience and meeting our strategic goal of delivering exceptional services.

The Family Advisory Group is a new initiative and we are actively seeking new members. The next meeting is on the 15th March between 12 noon and 1pm, and will take place online.

For more information, please contact Tarryn Bracken, Head of Quality and Safeguards, tarryn.bracken@disabilitytrust.org.au.
