Illawarra Vocational Services (IVS) is an employment based program which provides meaningful and valued work for people with a disability while building skills and interaction experience for open employment.

Illawarra Vocational Services is an Australian Disability Enterprise (ADE) with a reputation for providing meaningful and valued work for people with a disability. We pride ourselves on delivering quality work at a competitive price and our employees enjoy the variety of work we offer. IVS has been operating in the Illawarra region since 1986 and has many large, industrial and commercial customers. Our main business arms include: 

  • Lawn and garden maintenance
  • High pressure water cleaning of pathways 
  • Minor landscaping 
  • Gardening services 
  • Green waste removal 
  • Supply of sand bags 
  • Packaging and assembly services 
 
Training in gardening and horticulture, Illawarra Vocational Services is accredited with JAS-ANZ and ISO9001 certification standards and has a team of over 50 employees, trained and fully insured. IVS pays an approved supported wage and provides people with a disability the opportunity to develop skills in a social enterprise that gives back to the community. IVS is currently looking for new supported employees to join our lawn and garden crews. If you are receiving or eligible for the Disability Support Pension (DSP) or NDIS and are interested in joining the IVS team, your interest with with our Employment Services team.
