The Disability Trust finalises merger with OC Connections

It is with great pleasure that The Disability Trust has officially finalised our merger with OC Connections, effective on Monday 24 June.

OC Connections is a service provider based in Oakleigh in Victoria, which provides an array of services under the NDIS and has a strong culture and record of quality service delivery.

Well respected for excellent work in local communities in Melbourne’s south-east since 1950, OC Connections supports 450 people and it is dedicated to providing exceptional services, fostering inclusive communities and promoting equal opportunities for all.

You can find out more at  www.occonnections.org

We are thrilled to be uniting our organisation with another provider of high-quality support and programs in the disability services sector.

The Disability Trust completed a merger with another Victorian-based organisation, ermha365, in April and as part of our strategic vision to grow and innovate, the addition of OC Connections will strengthen our capabilities in an even wider geographical footprint.

We are confident that both organisations will be stronger and better placed to deliver more services to the people they support as a result of this merger.

We would like to thank the CEO of OC Connections, Therese Desmond, for her professionalism throughout the merger process and her staff for their efforts in welcoming The Disability Trust into their organisation.

There should be minimal impact to our front-line operations at The Disability Trust or OC Connections in the short term with both organisations working together on plans for the future.

OC Connections will retain its name and corporate identity as part of the merger process.
