LGBTIQA+ Welcome Here

Welcome Here: Celebrating Pride Month

June is LGBTQI + Pride Month, and as a proudly diverse organisation, The Disability Trust is celebrating Pride Month by registering with ACON’s Welcome Here Project.

The Welcome Here Project supports businesses and services throughout Australia to create and promote environments that are visibly welcoming and inclusive of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex and queer communities.

As an organisation that is committed to inclusivity on all levels, we are proud to display our support for this project at our offices and The Plant Room cafés.

LGBTIQA+ Welcome Here project.

Each of our offices is displaying a rainbow sticker at the front door to let everyone know LGBTQI+ diversity is welcomed and celebrated at The Disability Trust.

We have also encouraged staff members to get into the spirit by wearing vibrant colour every Friday in June to celebrate Pride Month!
