IncludeAbility Illawarra Launch

On Friday 18 November, The Disability Trust was proud to launch the Illawarra Pilot of the Australian Human Rights Commission’s IncludeAbility Project. The project aims to increase the employment rate of people with disability within the Illawarra region, matching them with employers who are trained to support employees with disability.

Speakers included Dr Ben Gauntlett, Disability Discrimination Commissioner, and Jerome Etteridge. Jerome attended our SLES in South West Sydney and is now a teacher’s aide. Jerome spoke on why diversity in the workplace is beneficial for employers.
