Participants enjoy their photography group

Sutherland Photography Group

This term, the Sutherland Photography Group has visited a different destination each week, including a mix of rivers, oceans and parks. The group have enjoyed outdoor adventures, making the most of the late sunsets during the summer months.

The group have snapped photos at different national parks, Taren Point Shorebird Reserve, and Cronulla and Kurnell beaches just to name a few places!

While the purpose of the two-hour activity is to take photographs, the group have found many benefits from this group activity. There is something so relaxing about being outdoors as the sunsets and the evening breeze cools everyone down after a long day. The group seem to let their distractions go as they all participate in taking in the various views, and capturing them in their own unique way. The calming environment has not only helped the group bond, but encouraged them to assist each other when setting up to take various shots as well.

The group look forward to the next photography exhibition to showcase their final photos!
