Volunteers pitch in for KidsWish Christmas Party

With more than 2000 people flocking to Symbio on Thursday for the KidsWish Christmas Party, this event could not come together without volunteer support.

The final preparations are being put in place for the big day and IT staff from computer networking services providers Cisco Australia and Natilik have been part of the lead-up work.

A group of 16 employees from their Sydney office travelled to KidsWish House at Flinders last week to help stock the goody bags that will be handed out to the children with disability or illness who will be the guests of honour at the Christmas Party.

The group eagerly rolled up their sleeves to sort the various toys, vouchers and tokens that will be handed out to the children and their families on Thursday.

A small army of volunteers will also be giving up their time to help out at Symbio to ensure the event runs smoothly.

There will be stage shows, photos with Santa Claus, a play zone, silent disco, a sport and sensory activity zone, animal feeding and much more for the kids to enjoy at the Wildlife Park.

The annual KidsWish Christmas Party will be held from 10am to 3pm on Thursday 7 December at Symbio Wildlife Park.
